Q: How can I find more about what to expect?

A: There are several websites of fire circle gatherings that have similar roots as our event. You can have a look at www.firetribehawaii.org or www.firefamilygathering.org. For background on the alchemical tradition behind the fire circle ritual, please see The Magic of The Fire Circle and other inspiration from the Las Vegas Vortex. Otherwise, just be open as the mystery unfolds...

Q: what is the vision you have in mind for bfc? how would you describe its goal?

A: The central idea is to create a safe space for individual spiritual process with a supportive community.

Q: Can we bring our own drums along?

A: You had better!!!! Bring musical instruments for yourself and to share.

Q: Do I need to have my own Drum?

A: It is not necessary to have a drum or even to participate in drumming in order to participate in the event. For those who do not have their own, there will be musical instruments to share.

Q: Is there a timetable for the event?

Please try to be at the site by 16:00 on Thursday. Contact the organizers or through the mailing list about ridesharing.

Closing circle will be around 12 noon Sunday.

It is possible to arrive sooner and to stay longer.

Q: I wonder what extra money we might need in czech crowns and if better to change it here or there. i don't know the exchange quota either... or can we pay with euros?

A: Yes, you can pay for your beverage tab in Euros, but everything else outside the Pension will need to be in Cz. Krone. They are about 28 to the euro. You can change at the station or just across the border, or even at the pension. Don't get lost doing this and miss the bus!!!

Q: Should I bring a camping gear?

A: The pension has everything, but if you feel more secure with a personal sleeping bag, bring it. Also, you may want to make a comfortable "nest" near the fire circle to rest at times during the night. So while you do not have to provide linens for the pension, it is not a bad idea to bring a sleeping bag or comfortable camping chair, if you have the luggage space.

Q: Does everybody have to dance?

A: Only if and when they want to!
